Itinerary

Day 1

(Saturday)

You arrive in Meråker on Saturday. We will come and meet you at the station and take you to our farm, the starting point of this adventure. We start at 10 am with getting dressed up. We will introduce you the huskies and let you get familiar with the different dogs, who all have special personalities! Afterwards, we will give you the instructions on how to harness the dogs and how to handle the sled. Each guest will get their on dog team of 4-6 dogs with a list of names. The guide will be there to help during the preparation stage. When we are ready we head out for a tour into beautiful landscape.

At lunch time we make up a fire and enjoy a good lunch.

After lunch we head back on our dog sleds and go towards the mountain lodge. The mountain lodge will serve us a lovely, traditional Norwegian two-course dinner. We will stay over at the mountain lodge till next morning.

Day 2

(Sunday)

We’ll have a nice breakfast at the lodge. At 0930 we will be picked up and go to our kennel. From there we will do a dogsledding ride for about 3 to 5 hours, including a lunch meal at a bonfire outdoors. A normal length tour is roughly 20- 35 kilometres long.  This last day we will experience more of the wonderful nature in the Meråker mountains, maybe catch a glimpse of wild life too. After the dog sledding ride we go by car back to the mountain lodge. This evening will be for sharing experiences from the day, and have a great evening together over a three course dinner.

Day 3

(Monday)

We’ll eat breakfast before departuring back to the train station/ bus station and say our good byes for now. .
